Kolo is a vast network of communities that are created, run, and populated by you, the Kolo users.

Through these communities, you can post, comment, like, discuss, learn, support, and connect with people who share your interests, and we encourage you to find—or even create—your home on Kolo.

We want Kolo to continue to be an authentic and a safe place for inspiration and expression. Help us foster this community. Only post your own photos and videos that are relevant to home and home design. Respect everyone on Kolo. While not every community may be for you and you may find some unrelatable. We want communities to create a sense of belonging for their members, not try to diminish it for others. Likewise, everyone on Kolo should have an expectation of privacy and safety, so please respect the privacy and safety of others.

Every community on Kolo is defined by its users. Below are the platform-wide rules that apply to everyone on Kolo. These rules are enforced by us, the admins of Kolo.

Kolo and its communities are only what we make of them together, and can only exist if we operate by a shared set of rules. We ask that you abide by not just the letter of these rules, but the spirit as well.

Rules

Rule 1

Refrain from adding, including, or sharing any email addresses, personal mobile numbers, or other personally identifiable information (PII) when creating or commenting on posts in Kolo. If you include a screenshot or image, ensure that any PII, such as email addresses and personal mobile numbers, is hidden or masked.

Note: Any posts, questions, or comments containing PII will be removed to safeguard user safety, security, and privacy. Repeat offences will be addressed according to enforcement sub-rules 3, 4, and 5

Rule 2

Keep it legal, Share only photos and videos that you've taken or have the right to share and are relevant to home and home design. As always, you own the content that you post on Kolo. Remember to post authentic content, and don't post selfies or anything you've copied or collected from the Internet that you don't have the right to post.

Rule 3

Post authentic content where you have a personal interest, Help us stay spam-free, do not cheat or engage in content manipulation by artificially collecting likes, followers or shares, review’s manipulation, posting repetitive comments or content.

Rule 4

Respect the privacy of others, Don't impersonate an individual or an entity and don't create accounts for the purpose of violating our guidelines or being deceptive or misleading others.

Rule 5

Ensure people have predictable experiences on Kolo by properly labelling content. Content that is copied, irrelevant to home and home design, posting unauthorised advertisements, posting screenshots, selfies, blurred images or repeatedly contacting people for commercial purposes without their consent is not allowed. Never post or threaten to post or encourage graphic, sexually-explicit, Sexual or suggestive or offensive content.

Rule 6

Stay on topic. Make sure that your posts and community discussions are relevant to the context in which they will appear and add to the conversation in a constructive way. Help us stay spam-free by not posting repetitive comments or content.
